Solution

The correct option is A Sertoli cells
Sertoli cells
Seminiferous tubules are lined by the spermatogonia (sperm mother cell) and Sertoli cells. Sertoli cells provide nourishment to the developing spermatozoa. Hence they are also referred to as ‘nurse cells’.

Interstitial cells
Interstitial spaces are regions present outside the seminiferous tubules that contain small blood vessels and interstitial cells also known as Leydig cells. Leydig cells synthesise and secrete testicular hormones called androgens (testosterone).

Connective tissue cells
Testes are covered by three dense coverings called tunicae, of which the innermost layer is called tunica vasculosa. This layer is made up of a network of capillaries supported by connective tissue.
