Solution

The correct option is C C
The codons that cause termination of translation are called as stop codons. Three stop codons are UAA, UAG and UGA. Option A is incorrect as UAG is not an exception of stop codons. On the basis of reproductive techniques, mammals are divided into two subclasses; egg laying mammals (the monotremes) and live birth mammals. The second subclass includes pouched mammals (the marsupials) and placental mammals. Kangaroo, Koala and Wombat are Australian marsupials that carry their young ones in a pouch. Option B is incorrect. Diphtheria, Pneumonia and typhoid are bacterial diseases caused by Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Salmonella typhi respectively. Option D is incorrect. Plasmodium and Trypanosoma are protozoans while Cuscuta is a parasite plant. Option C is correct.
Thus, the correct answer is option C.
