The respiratory organs involved in breathing are:
Nose: It bears two nostril that are separated by cartilaginous septum.
Pharynx: It is the opening of wind cavity and is situated at the back of the mouth.
Larynx: It is the voice box. It is a hollow cartilaginous structure situated at the beginning of the wind pipe.
Trachea: It emerges from the larynx. It is also known as windpipe.
Bronchi: The trachea divides into two tubes known as the bronchi.
Lungs: These are the pair of spongy and elastic organs that are formed by the air sacs , connecting bronchioles and blood vessels.
