Solution

Newton's first law of motion:

According to Newton's first law, a body continues to be in its state of rest or uniform motion along a straight line unless compelled to change that state by an external force.

For example:

  1. Wearing a seat belt in a car while driving is an example of Newton’s 1st law of motion.
  2. If an accident occurs or brakes are applied to the car suddenly, the body will tend to continue its inertia and move forward, probably proving fatal.
  3. To prevent such accidents, seat belts are used, stopping your body from moving forward in inertia and avoiding danger.
