Solution
The ciliary body is a part of the eye that includes the ciliary muscle. This is a part which controls the shape of the lens by surrounding the lens. The contraction of this muscles helps in the movement of the lens to allow the passage of light. There are cells in the ciliary body which are called as the ciliary epithelium. This epithelium produces the aqueous humour. The ciliary body is part of the uvea. The uvea is the layer which is responsible for the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the eye tissues.
