(i) The Hardy-Weinberg's principle states that allele and genotype frequencies in a population will remain constant from generation to generation in the absence of other evolutionary influences.
(ii) Theory of recapitulation states that ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny. It means that embryos, in their development repeat the evolutionary history of their ancestors in a short and abbreviated form.
