  1. A special kind of artery arises from the base of the aorta.
  2. There are mainly two types of coronary arteries - the Left coronary artery and the right coronary artery.
  3. Coronary arteries supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscles.

Function:

Coronary arteries (left and right coronary arteries) supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscles.
