Function of Plumule :
i) Plumule is the part of the embryo above the cotyledons, from which develops the shoot proper, consisting of stem, leaves, and flowers.
Function of Cotyledons :
i) Cotyledons are the embryonic part of the seeds of flowering plant which upon germination forms the first green leaf and help in the photosynthesis.
ii) Cotyledon is an important part of the seed and helps in its germination.
iii) These are the first leaves produced by plants but are not true leaves.
