State the mid-points of all the sides in the figure.

A mid-point divides the line segment into two equal parts.

Clearly, from the above figure,

AZ = ZB, AX =XC and CY = YB. So, X, Y and Z are the mid-points of AC, CB and AB respectively.

Hence, there are 3 mid-points, i.e. X, Y and Z.
