(i) Hans Berger is a German psychiatrist who invented electroencephalography (EEG). He had also discovered the Berger's wave.
(ii) Dixon and Jolly have given the cohesion-tension or cohesion and adhesion theory. This theory is also known as transpirational pull theory and was supported by other scientists.
(iii) Jean Baptiste Lamarck was a French naturalist, who has given the theory of inheritance of acquired characters (Lamarckism).
