At cathode:- Pb2++2e-Pb

At anode:- 2Br-(l)Br2(g)+2e-

During electrolysis of lead bromide using graphite electrodes observations are:-

At cathode:- Greyish white metal lead is formed.

At anode:- Dark reddish brown fumes of bromine evolved.
