In ABD and DCB
ABD=CBD(alternate interior angles)
AB=CD(opposite sides of a parallelogram)
AD=CB(opposite sides of a parallelogram)

diagonal BD divides a parallelogram ABCD into two congruent triangles ABD and DCB.
