Part 2: Bases conduct electricity

  1. Bases are a good conductor of electricity because of the release of electrolytes in the solution when they break into ionic form.
  2. The presence of these free ions in the solution makes them a conductor of electricity in nature.Mg(OH)2(aq.)Mg2+(aq.)+2OH-(aq.)
