Use of boiled water is one of the preventive measures of waterborne disease. So statement 1 is false.
• When an infected individual coughs or sneezes without covering his nose/ mouth in the air, droplets coming out of nose/ mouth which contain pathogens will infect the healthy person. So here disease is transmitted through air droplets so it is known as airborne disease So statement 2 is true.
