Number of radial nodes in any orbital is (nl1).
Where, n and l are the Principal and the Azimuthal quantum numbers respectively.
Thus, they depend upon both the values of n and l.
For 3s, nl1=301=2 and for 4p, nl1=411=2. Thus, number of radial nodes in 3s and 4p are equal.
