Solution

The correct option is B

Statement I:- True

Statement II:- False

Statement III:- True

The fibres that are produced from the plants and animals are called natural fibres.

The fibres that are produced by humans from chemical synthesis are called synthetic fibres.

Synthetic fibres are wrinkle free (they are shrinkage resistant), they dry faster than natural fibres because synthetic fibres have such a structure that they can't retain moisture into them.

Natural fibres are costlier than synthetic fibres because natural fibres are obtained from plants and animals which are present in limited quantity. Example:- Silk is obtained by killing the silkworms and these are 2500 silkworms are killed to produce a pound (.45 Kg) of raw silk.
