Chemical Equation::
2 H₂O₂ ⇒(on heating) 2 H₂O + O₂

In above equation,
2 H₂O₂ = 2(2+2x 16) = 68 g
and O₂ is 22.4 Litre

And, strength of H₂O₂ is expressed in terms of Volume of O₂ which is produced when H₂O₂ is decomposed.

Since , 68 g of H₂O₂ liberates 22.4 Litre of O₂
And , 15.18 g of H₂O₂ liberates = (22.4 x 15.18)/68 = 5 Litre

Volume strength is equal to 5.
