Question

Solution

Dear Student,

On bending the sheet two cases can be classified

(a) Sheet act as a concave mirror: If the sheet curved inside with respect to the person, i.e. it appears as a concave mirror. So, the image of the person will be inverted.

Disclaimer: The nature of image depends upon the distance of the person from the sheet.

(b) Sheet act as a convex mirror: If the sheet curved outside with respect to the person, i.e. it appears as a convex mirror. So, the image of the person will be erect.
