Question

Uniform velocity means that velocity is changing uniformly, then why is the graph of Velocity-time graph for uniform velocity, a straight line parallel to X-axis?

Solution

Uniform velocity means that the VELOCITY IS CONSTANT. When velocity is constant then it is not changing and remains same throughout.
Since, it is constant and constant quantities on a graph are represented by line parallel to the axes against which it is plotted therefore uniform velocity is a straight line parallel to the time axis in a velocity-time graph.
