• Plants make their own food through a process called photosynthesis. Since they make or produce their own food they are called producers.
• Producers are the starting point of any food web. Since Q is not the starting point of the given food web therefore it is only consumer and not producer.
• A food web consists of multiple food chains in a single ecosystem. In a given food web these are the following 4 food chains (i) P ---> Q --> S ---> T (ii) P ---> R --> S ---> T (iii) P ---> Q --> T (iv) P ---> R --> T
• In a food web, energy is passed from one organism to the next. At each level some amount of energy is used and remaining energy is transferred to the next organism. More the number of organism lesser will be the energy transferred to the last organism in a given food chain.
• Therefore, more energy is passed from R to T than to T from S.
• Q and T don't have common preys. As T feeds on Q and S and Q feeds on P.
