Given that: Subtract 2a-b-cfrom3a+b+c using the horizontal method.

Subtracting 2a-b-cfrom3a+b+c using the horizontal method:

=3a+b+c-(2a-b-c)

=3a+b+c-2a+b+c=(3a-2a)+(b+b)+(c+c)=a+2b+2c ( Re-grouping the terms)

Therefore, we get a+2b+2c.
