Solution

given equations are $2 x - x^{2} + 5, - 4 x - 3 + 7 x^{2}$

adding them we get

$(2 x - x^{2} + 5) + (- 4 x - 3 + 7 x^{2}) = 6 x^{2} - 2 x + 2$

now subtracting the sum from 5 we get

$5 - (6 x^{2} - 2 x + 2) = 3 + 2 x - 6 x^{2}$
