Solution

Initially Sumit and Rumit invested Rs 7200 and Rs 6400.
After 6 months,
Sumit invested =3600 Rs.
Sumit invested =34×6400=4800 Rs.
Ratio of shares of profit of Sumit : Rumit is,
7200×6+3600×6:6400×6+4800×6
27:28
Total profit is 19800 Rs.
Share of Sumit,
2727+28×19800
2755×19800
9720 Rs.

Thus Sumit's share is 9720 Rs.
