Question

Suppose we have following list of number - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,,,,,,,,,, it is an AP?? We can find it by using a2-a1 =a3-a2=a4-a3,,,,,,,,, but it take very time and if only one is not verifying and it came in last. So we have to verify all number???or we have to verify only 4 number from first.????

Usually the questions that are asked in exams have a similarity ,if they want to check whether you can identify and A. P . They will give a series of 4,5 digits only. And it can be verified visually, you have to just write it down. And if they ask question about nth term or (n+1)th term .The type of progression name will be given .
