The correct option is B

A got 13 sweets

B got 13 + 2 = 15

C got 15 + 2 = 17

D got 17 + 2 = 19

E got 19 + 2 = 21

Average number of sweets each got = 13+15+17+19+215 = 855 = 17

Alternate method :

Since, the Number of sweets increases by same number, the Mid value i.e. The value of C in this case will be the mean

(Because the number of observations is odd)
