I agree that Taylor's Principles of scientific management and Fayol's principles of management are mutually complementary because of the following reasons.
a. The principles given by the Taylor are based upon bottom downward approach, while Fayol's principles are based upon top upward approach.
b. The Fayol's principles are general and carry a high degree of flexibility, on the other hand Taylor's principles are very specific.
c. Taylor's principles stress upon workers efficiency whereas Fayol's principles stress upon managerial efficiency.
