The correct option is D (2x+4y)
Given that,
Total monthly income of the boy=(5y+9x)

Total monthly expenditure=(4x6y)+(6x+2y)+(4yx)+(y2x)

Grouping and adding all the like terms,
(4x+6xx2x)+(6y+2y+4y+y)=(7x+y)

Now, the total monthly savingof the boy= Total monthly income - Total monthly expenditure
=(9x+5y)(7x+y)=(2x+4y)

So, the monthly saving of the boy is (2x+4y).
