The correct option is D $12 f t$

From the graph, we can see that both points B and C have same y-coordinate.

So, the distance between the points will be the difference of their x-coordinates.

Co-ordinates of the point B = (8,4)
Co-ordinates of point C = (4,4)

∴ Distance between points B and C is
$= (8 - 4) c m = 4 c m$

$The scale is given as: 1 c m = 3 f t$

$So, the actual length BC is = (4 \times 3) f t$
$= 12 f t$
