Solution

(a)
As per the given information, age group is $$ 10-40 $$ years.
We can see that there are $$6$$ columns in the histograms.
So, it can be divided in $$ 6 $$ classes of equal class intervals with class size $$=\cfrac{40-10}{6}=5$$, starting from $$10$$
Hence, the classes are $$ 10-15, \ 15-20, \ 20-25, \ 25-30,\ 30-35,\ 35-40 $$

(b)
We know that, Class width = upper limit - Lower limit = $$ 15 -10 $$
$$ \therefore\  $$ Class width = $$ 5 $$

(c)
As per the given histogram, class $$ 10 -15 $$ consist of the least number of literate females.

(d)
Looking at the histogram, we can say that class $$ 15-20 $$ consists of the highest number of literate females.
