Let the wavelengths of the waves at 51oC and 16oC be λ and λ.
Given: Length of the pipe L=34cm
Thus 3λ4=L=34cmλ=45.33cm
Now T=51oC=324K and T=16oC=289K
As v=νλvλ (as frequency remains the same when temperature varies)
Thus λλ=vv=TT
λ45.33=289324
λ=42.8cm
