The angles of triangle are arranged in ascending order of magnitude. If the difference between two consecutive angles is 15°, find the three angles.
Given: ∠A = x, ∠B = x + 15°, ∠C = x + 30°
To Find: ∠A, ∠B and ∠C
Solution:
In ΔABC, ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180° (Sum of the angles of a triangle)
x + x +15° + x + 30° = 180°
3x + 45° = 180°
3x = 180° − 45°
3x = 135°
∴x = 45°
∠A = x = 45°
∠B = x + 15° = 45° +15° = 60°
∠C = x + 20° = 45° + 30° = 75°
