The area of a rectangular field is 1600 sq m. If the length of the field is 80 m, find the perimeter of the field.

Given, area of the rectangular field = 1600 sq m

and length of the rectangular field = 80 m

We know that, area of rectangle = Length$\times$Breadth

Let breadth of the rectangular field = b

Then, Area = 80 $\times$b

$\Rightarrow$ 1600 = 80$\times$b

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{1600}{80}=\frac{80\times b}{80}$

$\Rightarrow$ b = 20 m

Now, perimeter of the rectangular field = 2$\times$(Length + Breadth)

= 2$\times$(80 + 20)

= 2$\times$100

= 200 m
