The correct option is A 24 cm2
Let h be the altitude and y be the distance from B to O.
By Pythagoras theorem,
(5+y)2+h2=82 ....(1)
Also, y2+h2=52 ...(2)
From (1) and (2),
y=75
Substituting value of y in equation (2) we get,
h=245
Since, Area of rhombus = Altitude× Base
Area of Rhombus =245×5=24 cm2

Hence, option B.
