Given that, $R_{P} - R_{E} = 3 R_{E}$
$∴ R_{P} = 4 R_{E}$
$T^{2} α R^{3}$
$∴ \frac{T_{P}}{T_{E}} = {(\frac{R_{P}}{R_{E}})}^{3 / 2} = 4^{3 / 2} = 8$
$∴ T_{P} = 8 \times 1 = 8$ years.
