Molar mass of nitrogen= 28
Kinetic energy of oxygen molecules= 0.048 eV
Solution: The average translational energy for any gas is given by,
E=32KT
where, K is Boltzmann constant and T is the temperature.
From the above equation we conclude that energy is directly proportional to the temperature.
As, according to the question temperature is same for the nitrogen gas,
