The base and height of a triangle are in the ratio 3:4 and it's area is 96sq.cm . Find it's base and height.

Let the base be 3x and height be 4x.
Area = 1/2 x base x height = 1/2 (3x.4x) = 96 (Given)
6x^2 = 96
x^2 = 16
x = 4
Base = 3x = 12
Height = 4x = 16
