Let the length$\left(l\right)$ of the plot $=x$

$\Rightarrow$ The breadth$\left(b\right)$ of the plot $=x-20$

Given the perimeter $=120$

$\Rightarrow$ $2(l+b)=120$

$\Rightarrow$$2(x+x-20)=120$

$\Rightarrow$$2(2x-20)=120$

$\Rightarrow$$4x-40=120$

$\Rightarrow$$4x-40=120$

$\Rightarrow$$4x=160$

$\Rightarrow$$x=\frac{160}{4}$

$\Rightarrow$$x=40$,

$\Rightarrow$$l=x=40$, $b=x-20=20$

$\therefore$ The length of the plot is $40m$ and the breadth of the polt is $20m$.
