The correct option is A Rs. 360, Rs. 480
Let the cost of one watch=x Rs.
Then cost of second watch=(840-x) Rs.
Then according to the question
16% of x=12% of (840-x)
16100×x=12100×(840x)
16x100=12×84010012x100
16x100+12x100=12×840100
28x=12×840
x=12×84028=360Rs.
Hence ,cost of one watch=360 Rs
Cost of another watch=840-360=480 Rs.
