The correct option is C Nitration in benzene ring is an electrophilic aromatic substitution reaction where more activating group on benzene ring decides the position of coming electrophile(here it is -NO2 group). In the anhydride, NO2 is attached to the benzene ring which itself attached with O of anhydride.
