The correct option is B 0.05
Instrument resistance,
R=400 Ω

If r is the swamping resistance in series with the instrument, then

R+r=1500.05=3000 Ω

or, r=3000400=2600 Ω

Total resistance for 1oC rise temperature
=R(1+αc)+r(1+αs)
=400(1+0.004)+2600(1+0.00001)
=3001.626 Ω


% rise of resistance per degree rise in temperature,

=3001.62630003000×100=0.0542%
