Solution
The correct option is C6.00Letthecostofhorserideforoneadultisx$
Then as per given question cost of one child is half of one adult =x2
Then cost of 2 adults of horse ride =2x
And cost of 3 children of horse ride =x2×3=3x2
Then total cost of 2 adults and 3 children of horse ride =2x+3x2
But total cost of 2 adults and 3 children of horse ride is $14 ....(Given)
∴2x+3x2=14
⇒4x+3x=28
⇒7x=28
⇒x=4
So cost of horse ride for one adult is $4
Then cost of horse ride for one children =42=2$
Then total cost of one adult and one child =4+2=$6
