Given, The cost of $16$ chairs is $3600$ ₹

Here, No. of chairs $=16$

The total cost of chairs $=3600$ ₹

Then, the cost of one chair = Total cost of chairs/no. of chairs →equation (1)

Cost of one chair $=\frac{3600}{16}=225$ ₹ →equation (2)

Here, Total cost of chairs $=4500$ ₹

And from equation(2) , we have

one chair cost $=225$ ₹

And after putting value in equation(1) , we get

Therefore, $225$ ₹ $=4500$ ₹ / no. of chairs

No. of chairs $=\frac{4500₹}{225₹}=20$

Hence, the number of chairs is $20$.
