The correct option is B 7 : 3
Given,
2 mangoes cost ₹ 8
1 mango costs 82= 4

Similarly,
3 oranges cost ₹ 6
1 orange cost 63= 2

Given,
X = Cost of 2 mangoes and 3 oranges
= 8 + 6 = ₹ 14

Also,
Y = Cost of 1 mango + Cost of 1 orange
= 4 + 2
= ₹ 6

X : Y 14 : 6
Simplest form 2× 7:2× 3=7:3

Simplest form of X : Y is 7 : 3
