then, SP of 12 articles = 12 x Rs.

CP of 16 articles = 12 x Rs.

SP of 16 articles = 16 x Rs.

SP > CP

Profit $=SP-CP=16x-12x=4x$

Profit % $=\frac{\text{Profit}}{C}\times 100=\frac{4x}{12x}\times 100=33\frac{1}{3}\%$
