Let the volume of the solution be 100 mL
Molarity = number of moles of solutevolume of the solution in mL×1000
6 = number of moles of solute100×1000
Number of moles = 0.6 mol
Mass of solute = 0.6 ×58.5 = 35.1 g
Since, Density = mass of solutionvolume of the solution
Mass of the solution = 1.525×100 = 152.5 g
Mass of solvent = 152.5 - 35.1 g = 117.4 g
Molality = moles of solutemass of solvent in g×1000
Molality = 0.6117.4×1000 = 5.11 m
