The difference between selling a coat at a profit of 4% and that of 6% is ₹3. Find the two selling price.
156 and Rs. 159
Let the C.P. of the coat = ₹100
S.P. at a profit of 4%=₹(100+4)=₹104
S.P. at a profit of 6%=₹(100+6)=₹106
Difference in the two selling prices =₹(106 - 104) = ₹2
If the difference is ₹2, then first S.P. = ₹104
If the difference is ₹3, then first S.P =₹1042×3=₹156.
Second S.P = 156 + 3 = ₹159.
