Solution

The correct option is A 10%
Simple Interest SI=PNR100

So, SI=7200×2×R100=Rs144R
When interest is compounded, Amount A=P(1+R100)n

So, A =7200×(1+R100)2=Rs7200×(1+R210000+2R100)=Rs7200+Rs0.72R2+Rs144R

And CI=AP=Rs0.72R2+Rs144R
Si, difference CISI=Rs0.72R2+Rs144RRs144R=Rs72

0.72R2=72

R2=100

So, R=10 %
