T h e n, o t h e r i n t e g e r = x - 36 Q u o t i e n t w h e n x i s d i v i d e d b y (x - 36) = 4 \frac{x}{x - 36} = 4 x = 4 (x - 36) x = 4 x - 144 3 x = 144 x = \frac{144}{3} = 48 H e n c e, 1^{s t} n u m b e r = 48 a n d 2^{n d} n u m b e r = 48 - 36 = 12$
