Solution

Each organism is adapted to its environment. The form of nutrition differs depending on the type and availability of food material as well as how it is obtained by the organism. For example, fungi and much simpler organisms, obtain the food by dissolving it outside the body and then absorbing the digested food. In the case of mammals, due to their complex body structure and availability of different food, they can be herbivores or carnivores and can digest their food within their bodies.
