The dimensions of a public park are as shown. There are two paths in the park one along the perimeter and one along the boundary of the square. A man goes for a walk in the morning. He walks three complete rounds along the outer perimeter and two complete rounds along the square. What is the total distance covered by him during his morning walk?
1458 m
Perimeter of the outer path = 70 + 32 + 75 + 20 + 14 + 75 = 286 m
Perimeter of the square = 4 x 75 = 300 m
Total distance covered, = 3(286) + 2(300) = 858 + 600 = 1458 m
